Help for Heroes Fundraising Event – December 2009
Help for Heroes is a new charity which raises money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country, with the long process of rehabilitation and recovery. On the weekend of 5th-6th December 2009, the first ever Help for Heroes Pop Up Shop opened in Windsor Street, Uxbridge, and Flowerworks were very proud to be involved in this very successful event.
We designed and created a beautiful bespoke floral arrangement representing the charity’s badge and brand colours of red, ivory, blue and navy, which went on display in the shop window.
The flowers used for the display were made up of red carnations, chrysanthemeums and hydrangea heads with a dash of spray paint for the finishing touch! After the event the flowers were auctioned, with all proceeds going towards the £12,000 raised that weekend for the Help for Heroes fund.
Everyone agreed that the event was an amazing success, bringing a host of visitors, including the Mayor, to Windsor Street.
